A lot of different media products will use 3D modelling in order to make something that is not real seem real or maybe used instead of hiring an actor. This can be things from Adverts to games to tv shows. One example of this could be a recent game that is coming out soon, Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS4 and PC. The game is currently being created in the unreal engine 4 by Square Enix. There has not yet been a realise date announced for the game coming out. The game has used all of Unreal Engines features to create the game best as possible, Final Fantasy is well known for its great graphics and stunning visuals. Unreal Engine is one of the most graphically advanced engines out at the moment in time, this fits the styles of Square Enix and what they will and are trying to create with the Final Fantasy remake. The engine has its own inbuilt animation software which would be good and able to create all of the animations straight in Unreal and ported into the game directly with having to play around with code and files to get them all working to the best of their ability. The modelling process for this game however would be different to the rest of it, Unreal does offer a small amount of modelling in the software it is not as good as others which would be used. I am unable to find the specific software which they are using in the creation of the game, I could guess that they would use some software such as Maya, this is a good tool and I have personal experience with, its effective in creating very impressive and rather detailed models that would be used at a professional standard.
